Many thanks to Rose Lee and Alicia for their financial support. With the help of many volunteers, the children’s dental project was successfully carried out from 26 October 2000 to 2 November 2000. Almost sixty children were able to visit Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal and receive dental treatment in the capital. We would like to express our appreciation to the following volunteers – Louis, Edward, Cynthia, Ming Hui, Bee Choo, Serin, Florence, Thomass, Kanis, Gissom and Paul.
• In addition, our sponsorship programme for the village children and the plan to engage a local tutor for the children had also been implemented successfully. The children are happy that they are given the opportunity to learn under our sponsorship and tutoring programmes.
